Savings Accounts

Open a savings account to save for that new house, or what about a pool? Save for life changes--a new baby or a wedding!

What about setting up a college savings account for your child or grandchild?

Ours savings accounts offer competitive interest rates. It takes $10 to open an account. You must be an employee of the Girard City School district or the City of Girard or an immediate family member. We do offer payroll deduction for any participating employers.

For amounts up to $2000 we pay .5% Annual Percentage Yield

For amounts from $2001- $5000 we pay.75% Annual Percentage Yield

For amounts from $5001-$20,000-we pay 1% Annual Percentage Yield

For amounts $20001 and over --we pay 1.5% Annual Percentage Yield
